Can you believe after today there is one more day left!
I’m not going to lie… This week has been the toughest week for me by far, and it’s definitely not the reason(s) you are probably thinking.
First off, If you read my last post (here) then you already know my sister is in town. If she wasn’t into working out too, I would be in trouble. When entertaining family & friends, I find it really difficult to stick with any normal routine…let alone a routine I just started 3 weeks ago! Lucky for me, my sister has helped with keeping me mostly on track. Since she’s been here, I haven’t been eating as healthy as I was before but I am still making healthier choices. That is of course….until tonight. We celebrated Mother’s Day with my in laws this evening because they were in Ireland for the last 2 weeks. My Mother in law and I both love key lime pie so of course she requested it for our dessert this evening… I didn’t want to eat any as I’ve been doing great with being mindful of what I put in my body, but she really didn’t have to twist my arms too much to talk me into at least a bite. My sister and I split a slice but I still felt really guilty after eating it.
When we got back to our house, we went for a 2 mile run, which sadly only worked off those few bites of the key lime pie.
I still have to do my 21 day fix work out of the day which I will be doing soon. I have come too far to quit now. Minus the little set backs, I am so proud of how far I’ve come in the last 3 weeks with all of the positive changes in my health.
What do you all do to stay on track when you have family and/or friends visiting or have family get togethers?
I am going to start into round 2 with 21 Day fix on Monday and mix in Piyo. Which is another Beachbody workout program.
I plan to blog about it a little differently this next time around. I am going to continue reporting my results each week, but I will also be including my meal plans and recipes/links to recipes I used as well.
