After living in Michigan for the last 3 almost 4 years, the Oklahoma heat is unforgiving. Oklahoma is also not only known for how hot it gets, but also known for the weird pop up storms that decide to come from no where. The night before my scheduled session with the Dunbar family, I saw lightening and pretty much cried like a little kid who’s candy was taken away from them. I didn’t want to take any chances, so we decided to push up our shoot, despite the fact that the sun was too high. Thank goodness for CreativeLive and learning from Jasmine Star that you can shoot at any time of day! Just look for open shade!
Eli’s family has the most picturesque country home just outside of town in Enid, Oklahoma. This location has officially become my favorite location to shoot!
Kala is such a sweetheart and together with her husband and son you could see from the get go the love they share for each other. They were a lot of fun to work with, as they were up for anything! Even Sully, a horse on the property decided to make an appearance! Kala, Eli, & Hunter rocked their classy vintage looks and I am so thrilled to get to share their images with the rest of you!
